Do you have significant experience in a senior technical role in theatre, including extensive knowledge of sound, lighting, theatre technology and production? Are you excited about new technologies and advancements with a keen interest in implementing new techniques, equipment and strategies?
At Sheffield Theatres we are looking for a new Technical Director to join our Senior Management Team!
In this role, you will drive the technical vision of our productions, performances, events and projects, ensuring high-quality execution. You will maintain high operational, health and safety and artistic standards and play a key role in the organisation, working with the Executive Team to ensure technical plans align with Sheffield Theatres’ vision. You will collaborate with freelance creatives teams, Sheffield Theatres Technical and Production teams and all departments across the wider organisation to foster a positive and inclusive environment for all, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
Hours: 40 per week
Salary: £53,000 per year
Contract: Permanent
