After two successful campaigns in 2021 and 2019, Sheffield Theatres will once again be taking part in The Big Give Christmas Challenge.

Our aim this year is to raise £20,000 to support the development of our new youth theatre.

Our goal for the new youth theatre is to remove barriers to culture by offering a vibrant, welcoming and free-to-access programme for the children and young people of Sheffield. It will showcase work that is developed and led by young people, providing opportunities to spark their imaginations every step of the way.

We only have one week to raise £10,000 in online donations in order to unlock a further £10,000 match funding pot, pledged by Sheffield Theatres Trustee Neil MacDonald and Champion funds from The Big Give’s funding partners.

How can you help?

If you’d like to support Sheffield Theatres in the Christmas Challenge, online donations are accepted from midday on Tuesday 3 December until midday on Tuesday 10 December. Every donation that is made during that time has the power to be doubled, meaning your donation will make double the difference!
