James is a director, theatre-maker and facilitator based in Sheffield. Having started out as a participant in Sheffield People’s Theatre’s Young Company, James enjoys working on new writing and the bold reimaginings of classics. Play, co-creation, and participation sit at the heart of James’ practice. He looks to create loud, accessible performances that utilise music, comedy, and ensemble casting to tell socially-relevant stories that speak to the lived experiences of local and national communities.
