Ella is a Sheffield-based playwright, interested in the female perspective & experience. She aims to explore stories from a different angle, often with a skewed lens, with a healthy dollop of dark/daft humour.

Whilst on the Bank Cohort, she completed 2 new full-length plays: Play About Rain, presented at the Writer’s Showcase in the Playhouse (then, Studio), & Nuclear, which was shortlisted for Sheffield Theatres and ETT’s Nationwide Voices, & longlisted with Silent Uproar, Middle Child Theatre, & Sphinx 30.
