We today announce The Night Constable: an immersive and interactive digital adventure for schools to accompany our production of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, with Ramps on the Moon.
The project is a digital learning experience and unique study resource aimed at young people in Year 7 and above. Participants are invited to ‘solve the case’ and prevent the destruction of the character Hero’s reputation.
Through an exciting interactive narrative that challenges learners with puzzles and mysteries to uncover, young people will develop their understanding of the text and characters in this celebrated Shakespeare comedy.
To align with Ramps on the Moon’s pioneering initiative to put deaf and disabled artists and audiences at the centre of their work, The Night Constable is accessible to young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), those who are visually impaired and those who are hearing impaired. The experience will include embedded audio description, captioning, ASD friendly content and design, supportive navigation controls including audio assist, content repeat buttons and colour contrasting design for visually impaired users.
The Night Constable is available to book now by calling 0114 249 6000 or following the link below. The online experience will then become available to participate in from 5 September.
