Standing at the Sky's Edge and Life of Pi are winners at the 2019 UK Theatre Awards!
News 28 Oct 2019We are absolutely delighted that both Standing at the Sky’s Edge and Life of Pi brought home wins at the 2019 UK Theatre Awards.
Life of Pi won four awards, including: Best New Play, Best Director for Max Webster, Best Design for Nick Barnes, Finn Caldwell, Carolyn Downing, Andrzej Goulding, Tim Hatley and Tim Lutkin and Best Performance in a Play for Hiran Abeysekera.
Standing at the Sky’s Edge, directed by Sheffield Theatres’ Artistic Director Robert Hastie, written by Chris Bush and with music from Richard Hawley, won Best Musical Production.

These awards recognise the talent and expertise of our brilliant actors and artists as well as the dedicated staff who realise the ambitious vision for our work.
