Sheffield Theatres has partnered with new writing champions Paines Plough on their brilliant project Come To Where I Am.
Come To Where I Am sees writers from across the UK write brand new short plays about the places that they call home. These are then shared with you as visual audio pieces. This week Sheffield is done proud by 7 fantastic writers - our Artistic Associate, and writer of Standing At The Sky's Edge, Chris Bush, alongside the writers' cohort from The Bank - Sheffield Theatres' dedicated talent development hub.
These new plays are available here from 7pm on Wednesday 3 June
What's more, we want to connect with people who are isolated and are opening a call out to reach people by phone.
We are going to be offering a service to targeted groups to experience performances of the plays over the phone. Paines Plough are working with some well-known actors to provide this caller service.
You can nominate an audience group below. Audience groups can be called individually, join a conference call so that they can listen along with others and discuss the play, or as part of an organisation or institution. Where people are together in a care setting, such as a hospital or care home, a joint call or video call can be arranged.
