2025 promises to be a bumper year in the Lyceum. Not only are we thrilled to be welcoming back audience favourites including Chicago, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Bat Out of Hell, but we’ve got an incredible list of shows making their Lyceum debut too! From literary classics to Rock ‘n’ Roll icons these brilliant new productions are sure to make 2025 “Simply the Best!”.
TINA – The Tina Turner Musical

Having wowed audiences in the West End since 2018, TINA embarks on its first ever tour of the UK and Ireland in 2025. Set to the soundtrack of Tina Tuner’s greatest hits, this 5-star smash hit musical tells the harrowing and inspirational life story of a young girl from Nutbush, Tennessee who overcame all the odds to become a true global superstar.
Little Women
Tue 6 – Sat 10 May
From one heroic woman to four courageous little women. This brand-new adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic story offers a heart-warming theatrical experience in the company of Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy, four sisters coming of age in Civil War era Massachusetts. Expect laughter, tears and a celebration of sisterhood when this compassionate drama comes to the Lyceum in May.
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Another literary classic is revamped for a new generation in this exhilarating new production. When Lucy, Edmund, Peter and Susan stumble across the magical world of Narnia they find themselves between a battle between good and evil. Making use of “perfect puppetry” (The Guardian), magical illusions, and striking set and costume design, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is a spectacle that the whole family will enjoy.
There's a Monster in Your Show

If having a witch in your wardrobe doesn’t appeal, how about having a monster in your b̶o̶o̶k̶ show? Based on There’s a Monster in your Book by Tom Fletcher, lead vocalist of pop band McFly, this high energy adventure featuring original music and plenty of playful fun, is the perfect introduction to live theatre for the youngest member of the family. “Sure to put a smile on even the grumpiest of faces” (Evening Standard).
Dear Evan Hansen
Tue 8 – Sat 12 April
If you love original music, then look no further than Dear Evan Hansen. This multi-award-winning show has music and lyrics written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land, The Greatest Showman) and has been called “one of the most remarkable shows in musical theatre history” (Washington Post). When tragedy strikes, 17 year-old Evan is caught up in a misunderstanding. But as events snowball, Evan must decide whether to come clean or get everything he's ever hoped for.
& Juliet

Following an incredible West End run between 2019 and 2023, & Juliet arrives in Sheffield in May, bringing with it a soundtrack packed with pop hits and proof that there really is life after Romeo! If you love your leading ladies to be Larger Than Life and Stronger rather than Overprotected, this “witty story of self-discovery” (The Guardian) will be right up your street!
Calamity Jane

Wrapping up our new for ’25 highlights is a whip crackin' musical comedy classic that has everything from gun slingin’ action to heart thumpin’ romance. Carrie Hope Fletcher stars as tough talking, straight-shooter Calamity Jane who finds saving the day a whole lot easier than affairs of the heart!
