Following the announcement of our Together Season, alongside Leeds Playhouse and the Bridge Theatre we’re very excited to welcome two of Alan Bennett’s Talking Heads as a double bill to both the Crucible and Leeds Playhouse this November.
Following the television broadcast in June this year, and a successful run at the Bridge Theatre, the Talking Heads double bill will include Imelda Staunton in A Lady of Letters directed by Jonathan Kent and Maxine Peake in Miss Fozzard FindsHer Feet directed by Sarah Frankcom.
The double bill will run in the Crucible from Mon 9 – Wed 11 November, with tickets going on sale to members on Wednesday 30 September and on General Sale on Tuesday 6 October. Click here to find out more about our Together Season.
You can get priority booking on Talking Heads by becoming a member for £50 per year. Find out more.

“One positive consequence of the pandemic has been greater collaboration and a powerful sense of our interconnectivity as theatres and theatre-makers. I’m thrilled that thanks to the staunch support of Alan Bennett and our friends at The Bridge, and a commitment by two of Britain’s finest and best-loved performers to playing theatres outside London, Sheffield audiences returning to the Crucible this autumn will be able to enjoy these timeless monologues by one of Yorkshire’s greats.”
