We are over the moon to announce we have won TWO awards at the 2020 Stage Awards - Regional Theatre of the Year and Achievement in Technical Theatre.

A new category for the Stage Awards, the Achievement in Technical Theatre, has been awarded for the work of our teams on Life of Pi. Regional Theatre of the Year comes for an unprecedented fourth time, with previous wins in 2013, 2014 and 2017.

Robert Hastie, Artistic Director of Sheffield Theatres, said: ‘We are overwhelmed to have won both Regional Theatre of the Year and Achievement in Technical Theatre at this year’s Stage awards. We shared a wonderful 2019 with our audiences, bringing four world premieres to our stages, as well as continuing our commitment to investing in talent across the city with our new creative hub.
