Monday 15 – Sunday 21 May marks Dementia Action Week with The Alzheimer’s Society.
We’re proud to be a Dementia Friendly organisation and and offer a programme of activities such as Dementia Friendly performances,Dementia Friendly Tea Dances,and recently a new Dementia Friendly choir.
Tea Dances
We are pleased to share the upcoming dates for our monthly Tea Dances for the rest of 2023:

There are two time slots to choose from 11.15am-12.45pm or 1.30pm-3.00pm. Places are free and you can book here, in person at the Crucible, or on 0114 249 6000.
Training Sessions
Our Access and Sales Supervisor Paul Whitley is also running training sessions to learn how to become a Dementia Friend.
Being a Dementia Friend involves learning more about dementia, and what it is like to live with dementia. We talk about the small ways you can help: from telling friends about being a Dementia Friend, to visiting someone you know living with dementia.
These will take place on Tuesday 16 May in the Crucible’s Adelphi Room. They are open to public and bookable at these links:
