In School Workshop that engages students with the format for visiting the theatre. Explore with us the production, looking at costume, character and story to make your visit an accessible experience.

Turn your class into theatre makers. Working as Playwrights, Storytellers, Performers and Designers your class will discover how to create stories for performance and bring characters to life through writing, acting and design.

Supporting a curriculum topic this project aims to offer young people the opportunity to gain literacy and public speaking skills as well as boosting confidence, team building and well-being.

Behind the Magic can either take place over a day, or can be a 4-week project where artists visit school over that period. Both versions end in a sharing of work created by the class.

Duration: 9am – 3pm/one school day.
Location: Sheffield Theatres or in School.
