Betrayal Rehearsals Begin

Rehearsals begin today for the eagerly anticipated production of Betrayal, starring John Simm, Juliet Aubrey, Colin Tierney and Thomas Tinker.

Betrayal, Harold Pinter’s semi-autobiographical masterpiece about love and relationships takes to the Crucible stage from Thursday 17 May – Saturday 9 June. The cast have embarked on rehearsals in London while the Snooker World Championships return to their Sheffield home for this year’s tournament.

John Simm, recognisable from his many TV roles including Life on Mars, State of Play and Mad Dogs, returns to Sheffield Theatres following last year’s production of Hamlet, to play Jerry. Simm is joined by BAFTA Award winning actress Juliet Aubrey (Middlemarch, Primeval) as Emma, Colin Tierney (Hamlet) as Robert and Thomas Tinker as the Waiter.
